Dear Sisters & Brothers,

A heartfelt Happy Principal’s Appreciation Day to the best School Leaders in our City, Commonwealth, & Country! I express my extreme gratitude as your Teamsters Local 502: CASA President for your strong, steadfast leadership with dedication to your students, families, faculty, and staff that has had such a positive impact on your school community and beyond! 

Through your unwavering efforts to support your entire school and community, you have built up a body of work that makes me so very proud to be your CASA Union President. The entire City of Philadelphia celebrates you as award winners, grant recipients, and community advocates at a time when education is under intense pressure across the nation due to federal funding cuts and the transfer of allocations away from diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives that you have championed so well over the years. Your stellar work enhances your students’ educational attainment, as well as their socio-emotional growth and upward mobility. You showed up and showed out when you were in the “room where it happens” at our sensational CASA One Education Conference! 



I am so very proud to be your Union Leader, but you should be just as proud of the amazing accomplishments you have fostered in your schools that continue to sprout bountiful dividends in our City of Philadelphia, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and across all of these United States of America! Stay strong, as you are Teamsters, who embody the fight for equity and justice throughout our great land!
