Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

The CASA ONE Education Conference (“the Conference”) is organized by Teamsters Local 502 CASA (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all registrations, attendance, participation, and use of materials related to the Conference, whether in person or virtual.
By registering for or attending the Conference, you agree to comply with these Terms in full.

2. Registration and Payment

• All registrations must be completed through the official CASA ONE registration form or website.
• Payment is due at the time of registration unless otherwise specified.
• Registration is not complete until full payment has been received and confirmed.
• We reserve the right to decline or cancel any registration at our discretion.
• Early bird and standard rates apply as listed on the registration page. Deadlines for early bird pricing are final.

3. Cancellations, Refunds, and Substitutions

• Cancellations must be submitted in writing to operations@local502.org.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed based on the following schedule:
• More than 30 days before the event: Full refund minus processing fee.
• 15–30 days before the event: 50% refund.
• 14 days or fewer before the event: No refunds will be issued.
• Substitutions may be made at any time by notifying operations@local502.org in writing.
• Teamsters Local 502 CASA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Conference due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, registered attendees will be notified and given options for a refund or credit.

4. Event Changes

We reserve the right to make changes to the Conference program, schedule, speakers, venue, or format as necessary.
All updates will be communicated through official channels, including email and our website.  No compensation or refund will be provided for changes in scheduling or speaker lineups.

5. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to engage in professional, respectful, and inclusive behavior. Harassment, discrimination, or any disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.  We reserve the right to remove any attendee from the event without refund for violations of this policy.

6. Audio, Photography, and Video Consent

By attending the Conference, you consent to being photographed, recorded, or filmed.  Your likeness, image, or voice may be used in future promotional, educational, or archival materials by Teamsters Local 502 CASA without compensation.  If you wish to opt out, please notify operations@local502.org before the event.  Full details are available in our Audio, Photography, and Video Consent Policy.

7. Accessibility and Accommodations

We are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience.
If you require special accommodations (such as dietary restrictions, mobility assistance, or translation services), please inform us at least three weeks prior to the event by contacting operations@local502.org.

8. Liability Waiver

By registering for and attending the Conference, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
• Teamsters Local 502 CASA, its officers, employees, agents, and partners are not responsible for any personal injury, illness, loss, or damage to property arising during the event.
• You agree to hold harmless and indemnify Teamsters Local 502 CASA against any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from your participation.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials presented or distributed during the Conference—including slides, handouts, audio, or video content—are the property of Teamsters Local 502 CASA or their respective authors.  Reproduction, distribution, or commercial use of these materials is prohibited without written permission.

10. Privacy

Personal information collected during registration is used solely for event management, communication, and related administrative purposes.  We handle all data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay, cancellation, or modification of the Conference caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, strikes, acts of terrorism, or government restrictions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.  Any disputes arising from or related to this Conference shall be resolved in the courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
